Few student reviews are given below for your perusal –

I learnt of lot and the course has really helped me to refine my approach to digital marketing… and the digital marketing plan is now at execution stage! I will continue to highly recommend this course and will no doubt be doing additional modules in the future. — Anirudh Srinivasan, Brand Manager.

If you’re looking for a course in Digital Marketing then I would thoroughly recommend completing it with the SKARtec Digital Marketing Academy… I found the course and support to be exceptional. I would recommend this course to anyone wishing to upskill in this area. — Prashant, Marketing Manager

I’m still fairly at the start of the course, so I’m not sure yet if this well become a 4, 4.5 or 5 star rating, but until now I think it is a great course: The instructor is very clear, speaks at the right speed (for me) the course is itself a proof of what he teaches: How to develop and market the right product for your target audience (or as he calls it ‘the buyer persona’). I have chosen the right course and definitely refine the review after course completion. — Vaishu Rengarajan, Client Support Executive, Advertising Agency

Types of Search Queries

Navigational Search Queries

A navigational query is a search query entered with the intent of finding a particular website or webpage. Example, a user might enter “YouTube” into Google’s search bar to find the YouTube site rather than entering the URL into a browser’s navigation bar or using a bookmark. In fact, “Facebook” and “YouTube” are the top two searches on Google, and these are both navigational queries.

navigational-search

You don’t stand much of a chance targeting a navigational query unless you happen to own the site that the person is looking for. True navigational queries have very clear intent – the user has an exact site in mind and if you’re not that site, you’re not relevant to their needs.

Informational Search Queries

Wikipedia defines informational search queries as “Queries that cover a broad topic (e.g., Mumbai or trucks) for which there may be thousands of relevant results.” When someone enters an informational search query into Google or another search engine, they’re looking for information – hence the name. (Knowledge Graph)

informational-search

Here are some of the ways you could target informational queries to drive traffic and leads to your site through organic search:

  • Write a blog post full of tips that would be useful for your prospective customers.
  • Create a how-to video that is relevant to your business.
  • Write a detailed, step-by-step guide that elucidates a process relevant to your business.
  • Design an infographic that illustrates a concept.

The goal is to position yourself as a trustworthy, authoritative source of information, not to try to cram your products down the searcher’s throat.

Transactional Search Queries

A transactional search query is a query that indicates an intent to complete a transaction, such as making a purchase. Transactional search queries may include exact brand and product names (like “Samsung galaxy s3”) or be generic (like “LG mixer /grinder”) or actually include terms like “buy,” “purchase,” or “order.”

Is 100% Placement Guaranteed – Myth or a Reality?

Can anyone assure you 100% Job Placement or Job Guarantee?

There are many digital marketing institutes who claim to offer 100% placement guarantee on taking training from them – “Learn Digital Marketing with 100% Job Placement”. Don’t assume these are real. None of these institutes have a 100% placement track record.

The fact is none can assure you 100% placement without screening and ensuring your employability. These institutes fleece students with various marketing tactics like this. Some institutes just use this jargon to get crowd. Few institutes take the pain of taking the initiative in getting the students places but even if you get employed, you cannot expect a decent salary.Watch Full Movie Streaming Online and Download

Nothing comes for free. Even though some institutes advertise about 100% placement , its never possible. There is no course which guarantees you a 100% placement. As i said before, nothing come for free in this world. You have to strive for excellence, work hard, be consistent in your hard work. Also you need a passion for the field.

What the institute does is install lifts and air conditioners in the faculty chambers rather than providing qualitative faculty members or books for that matter in the library. There are many aspirants who go to these institutes to learn and inturn they are just taught nothing. There are students who take loan and promising their family that better days would come soon.

Hence I would like to tell all these students to take a wise decision before joining any institute. Assess the What internal weaknesses does the institute have as compared with competitions’—that will hinder our career prospects. Check out the internal strengths do your institute have—compared with your competitions’—that will your career opportunities. Understand what opportunities are available to you after completion of the course.

What is DoubleClick Ad Exchange?

The DoubleClick Ad Exchange is a real-time marketplace to buy and sell display advertising space. By establishing an open marketplace where prices are set in a real-time auction, the Ad Exchange enables display ads and ad space
to be allocated much more efficiently and easily across the web. It’s just like a stock exchange, which enables stocks to be traded in an open way.

Participants in the Ad Exchange?

• The large online publishers (sellers)—websites like portals, entertainment sites and news sites
• Ad networks and agency holding companies that operate networks (buyers)—companies that connect web sites with advertisers.

But it’s not just the direct participants who benefit. As an individual investor, you can buy and sell shares on the stock exchange through an online broker, without needing to plug in to the NYSE mainframe. It’s the same for AdWords advertisers and AdSense publishers who get access to the extra publishers and certified ad networks in the Ad Exchange, through their AdWords or AdSense interface. Similarly, advertisers who use other participating ad networks can get the benefits of the Ad Exchange.

What does the Ad Exchange mean for the display advertising ecosystem?

Sellers in the Ad Exchange:

• Can make the most money for their ad space, every time a page on their site loads with an ad (called an “impression”). In the past, too many sellers had inventory unsold or sold for a price below its potential market value.
• Get access to many more advertisers, while still being able to control who can advertise on their site.
• Benefit from simplified reporting and payments—a single exchange manages it all.

Buyers in the Ad Exchange:

• Get access to many more websites and more ad space.
• Can use technology that allows them to bid for ad space in real time, depending on how much they value a particular ad impression.
• Have more controls over where their ads run and don’t run.

Google AdWordsTM advertisers:

• Have easy access to the websites in the Ad Exchange, as well as all the existing websites in the Google Content Network—all through their AdWords interface.

Google AdSenseTM publishers:

• Have their ad space available to certified ad networks in the Ad Exchange. This means more quality display advertisers competing for their ad space and higher returns. AdSense publishers get the benefit of this through their AdSense interface, without having to log in to the Ad Exchange itself.

How to setup XML-RPS Ping Services in WordPress?

What is RPC? RPC is Remote Procedure Call.

RPC Update Services are tools that you can use to let people know that you have updated your WordPress blog. WordPress automatically notifies popular Update Services that you have updated your blog by sending a XML-RPC ping each time you create or update a post.

In turn these Update Services process the ping and updates their proprietary indices with your updates. When people browse sites like Sphere or Technorati they can find all your recent posts. There are many other services other than the default provided by WordPress.

Copy and paste the below in your WordPress. Click on Setting -> Writing and scroll down to Update Services at the bottom. Erase all existing entries and copy the below and Save Changes.
